When you are invited to interview, the interview day begins at the Center for Emergency Medicine usually at about 8:30am. You will have the opportunity to speak with 4 or 5 faculty members, as well as a resident or two. After the interviews, there is lunch with our residents, followed by short visits to our emergency departments. You may also have the opportunity to respond to an EMS call in our prehospital vehicle. The day should conclude at approximately 4:00 p.m. If you wish to spend some time in any of our Emergency Departments before or after the interview day, please let us know and we can easily make arrangements for you.

    Let Us Take You Out!

The residents here at the University of Pittsburgh invite you to come out for dinner and drinks the night before your interview. If you would like to join in the fun, dinner begins at 6:30pm. Don't miss the chance to get to know us and see a little of Pittsburgh's nightlife! Look for the Night Out flyer in your confirmation package for more details!
