Core Lecture Series Back to top

The core lectures series, in September, is for the first-year emergency medicine residents. Lectures and workshops on the major core curriculum areas are presented over the course of the month. Interns are also assigned to shifts in the emergency departments of the residency hospitals.

In February, an advanced core lecture series is offered for second-year residents. This is a week-long course that includes hands-on airway lab, advanced EKG reading, and in-depth radiology, orthopedic, and ophthalmology workshops. The schedule includes interactive simulation sessions at the WISER Center.

Residents from all levels are welcome to attend any portion of these two courses.
